Are you an Electrical Engineering graduate who is interested in design? This Leeds based role could be ideal…

You’ll be producing schematic design layouts (rough construction drawing that offer a general overview of a project's basic features) and manufacturing drawings for cranes and material handling applications.

For example, in a crane there is an electrical control system that makes sure it operates safely and reliably. It’s a complex system, and you will be learning the design aspect that goes into it.

These are really powerful bits of equipment. They are used all around the World, in nuclear power stations and fuel reprocessing plants.

There will be lots of documents and calculations to prepare. And you’ll be working out what materials you need from suppliers, and liaising with them.

You’ll be working on projects; making sure they are delivered on time, and to the right standard. There will be lots of work with customers; and at times you’ll get to visit their sites.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

Full training will be given, so you don’t need to have worked on this specific type of equipment before. Graduates have previously done well with the business.

You’ll also be attending courses to further develop your knowledge.

WHAT YOU’LL GET

Salary starts at £25,000 and goes up to £27,000 after 6 months.

Hours are 37 per week, Monday - Friday (with flexible starting and finishing times)
