Position Overview: We are seeking a number of experienced Electrical Engineers at a variety of levels, to support one of the UKs leading water consultancies, who are going through a period of growth. This role involves designing, managing, and delivering electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation (EICA) systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage water and sewage treatment processes and systems.
- Generate innovative solutions to add value for clients.
- Produce EICA design deliverables.
- Manage CAD resources for engineering drawings.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers.
- Handle line management responsibilities.
- Foster positive relationships with business partners and clients.
- Manage multidiscipline design teams.
- Conduct feasibility, outline, and detailed design.
- Estimate bids, proposals, and project hours.
- Perform technical reviews.
- Implement and contribute to technical assurance functions.
- Ensure commercial and contractual compliance.
- Promote the company's purpose, vision, values, and culture.
- Utilize Microsoft Office 365.
Qualifications:
- BEng, BSc, or equivalent in electrical engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status.
- Extensive experience in water and wastewater treatment design, environmental consultancy or the oil & gas, energy sector
- Proficiency in EICA systems.
- Valid driving license.

Examples of Work:
- Conduct site surveys and capacity assessments.
- Develop electrical designs including P&IDs, load schedules, and system architectures.
- Write technical reports at various project stages.
- Liaise with UK clients.
- Create general arrangement and detail electrical design drawings.
- Support or lead bids and fee proposals.
- Understand DSEAR, CDM, WIMES, and relevant standards.
- Participate in Hazard Studies (HAZOP, HAZCON, HAZCOM).
- Develop standard and bespoke design solutions.
- Review calculations and reports.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with LOPA, SIL Assessments, DSEAR assessments.
- Proficiency in AMTECH/TRIMBLE and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of HV electrical systems design
