Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer based within Leeds, LS9
The role is to work alongside a dynamic maintenance team to deliver the required services, ensuring the Hospital is maintained to the highest standard.
You will be required to manage a small shift team consisting of Maintenance craftsman and Maintenance Assistants and provide technical guidance, assistance and information to other members of the team.
The ideal candidate must be able to carry out maintenance, repairs, testing and inspection of building, mechanical and electrical services, associated systems, plant and equipment in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures.
Available shifts / Locations below:
- Postcode: LS9 7TF-This is a full time position
- The shifts are 4 days then 4 off then 4 nights 4 off. ( Please see the below)
- 06:00am till 18:00pm and 18:00pm to 06:00am
- 23.19 including holiday pay, however you have the option to accrue
- This position is PAYE
- Paid Weekly, Every Friday before 5 PM.
Skills and qualifications required:
- Must have at least 2 years previous Shift Engineer experience
- Previous experience managing a small team
- DBS certificate or equivalent Required
- Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
- Able to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work both alone and in a team.
- Awareness of health and safety procedures
Duties and experience required:
- To undertake in a wide range of reactive and planned maintenance tasks and carry this to a high standard.
- Have experience in maintenance and repairs, testing and inspection of building, mechanical and electrical services.
- Previous experience in heating and domestic water services.
- Previous experience in electrical services, this can include lighting, power, fire alarm systems, emergency lighting etc
- Have a good understanding of operation procedures.
