About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop cost-effective design and engineering solutions.
- Create initial designs from site surveys and feasibility assessments.
- Manage grid connection applications and liaise with DNOs.
- Conduct yield assessments and data analysis for solar sites.
- Produce detailed designs and technical specifications using PVSol, PVsyst, PVcase, CAD, and manufacturer software.
- Maintain technical relationships with sub-contractors, funders, and DNOs.
- Ensure compliance with quality and H&S systems.
- Support procurement processes and identify new supplier sources.
- Provide installation support during the construction phase.
- Assist in surveying potential future projects.
- Stay current on new solar technology developments.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in the solar/renewables industry.
- Proficiency in PVSol, PVsyst, PVcase, and CAD.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office.
- Desirable: Experience with Hubspot CRM and Google Sheets.
