About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop cost-effective design and engineering solutions.
  • Create initial designs from site surveys and feasibility assessments.
  • Manage grid connection applications and liaise with DNOs.
  • Conduct yield assessments and data analysis for solar sites.
  • Produce detailed designs and technical specifications using PVSol, PVsyst, PVcase, CAD, and manufacturer software.
  • Maintain technical relationships with sub-contractors, funders, and DNOs.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and H&S systems.
  • Support procurement processes and identify new supplier sources.
  • Provide installation support during the construction phase.
  • Assist in surveying potential future projects.
  • Stay current on new solar technology developments.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the solar/renewables industry.
  • Proficiency in PVSol, PVsyst, PVcase, and CAD.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office.
  • Desirable: Experience with Hubspot CRM and Google Sheets.
