Description
- Providing routine maintenance and troubleshooting for electrical systems and equipment.
- Implementing preventive maintenance plans and schedules to enhance equipment longevity.
- Identifying and rectifying electrical faults in a timely manner.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Documenting all maintenance and repair activities for future reference.
- Collaborating with other team members to streamline operations.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
- Keeping abreast of latest developments in electrical engineering and applying them in the workplace.
Profile
- Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition qualification preferred but not essential
- Previous experience of working in an Electrical Engineer capacity in a manufacturing environment, and proficiency in PLC Control and Variable Speed Motor Controllers.
- The ability to use your own initiative to solve problems, and to challenge the 'status quo'.
- A self-motivated attitude and a proven commitment to seeing a job through to its conclusion to maintain production.
- A flexible approach to your work, in terms of production and maintenance demands as well as continuous improvement methods.
