Description

  • Providing routine maintenance and troubleshooting for electrical systems and equipment.
  • Implementing preventive maintenance plans and schedules to enhance equipment longevity.
  • Identifying and rectifying electrical faults in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Documenting all maintenance and repair activities for future reference.
  • Collaborating with other team members to streamline operations.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
  • Keeping abreast of latest developments in electrical engineering and applying them in the workplace.

Profile

  • Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition qualification preferred but not essential
  • Previous experience of working in an Electrical Engineer capacity in a manufacturing environment, and proficiency in PLC Control and Variable Speed Motor Controllers.
  • The ability to use your own initiative to solve problems, and to challenge the 'status quo'.
  • A self-motivated attitude and a proven commitment to seeing a job through to its conclusion to maintain production.
  • A flexible approach to your work, in terms of production and maintenance demands as well as continuous improvement methods.
