Job Description:
- The primary function of the Maintenance Engineering team is to support the Production Department throughout the provision of planned and daily maintenance
- Technical advice on a range of bespoke machinery.
- The development of new equipment and processes as well as the maintenance of Company properties also form part of the overall departmental responsibilities.
- The engineering department currently operates a rotating shift pattern of early, late and night shifts (Monday - Friday) with a rostered weekend call-out system (1 weekend in 4)
Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
- Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition qualification preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience of working in an Electrical Engineer capacity in a manufacturing environment, and proficiency in PLC Control and Variable Speed Motor Controllers.
- The ability to use your own initiative to solve problems, and to challenge the 'status quo'.
- A self-motivated attitude and a proven commitment to seeing a job through to its conclusion to maintain production.
- A flexible approach to your work, in terms of production and maintenance demands as well as continuous improvement methods.
- Ability to work shifts and be available on a rota weekend basis (please ask for further shift details)

Further details:
- Salary - up to 52415 inclusive of shift pay for days / nights / afters
- 2634 annually for call out (rarely called out) - paid in monthly increments
