Elevation Recruitment are exclusively recruiting on behalf of our client for an Electrical Team Leader to join their dynamic production team, based in West Yorkshire.This role will be managing the afternoon shift:

  • Monday – Wednesday 1pm -11pm (10 hours)
  • Thursday 2pm – 11pm (9 hours)
About the Role

As an Electrical Team Leader, you will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across various vehicle builds. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will supervise a team of electricians, provide technical guidance, and uphold the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Team Leader include:
  • Lead and inspire a team of electricians to meet build schedules and maintain quality standards
  • Allocate work based on individual skills and project requirements
  • Supervise electrical installations, ensuring compliance with plans and technical specifications
  • Monitor requisitions for electrical components, focusing on suitability and cost-efficiency
  • Inspect completed electrical work for functionality and compliance with standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as they arise
  • Collaborate with the Electrical Engineer to develop wiring schematics and technical documentation
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to address build progress and timelines
  • Maintain technical files for each vehicle build and manage upgrade/modification requirements
  • Uphold and champion the company’s Health and Safety policies
We are looking for Electrical Team Leaders with the following skills & experience:
  • Proven experience as a time-served electrician, preferably within vehicle or production environments
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and deep technical knowledge of electrical systems
  • A proactive approach to meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A commitment to health and safety best practices
