Job Overview:
Active Personnel areseeking a skilled and experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join our clinetsgrowing team in Yorkshire. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in fire and security systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair fire alarm systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections, ensuring all systems comply with industry standards and regulations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in fire and security systems, providing effective solutions
- Liaise with clients to ensure work is carried out to their satisfaction and in line with health and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of all work completed and ensure timely completion of documentation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fire and Security Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
- Relevant qualifications in fire and security systems (e.g., FIA, NSI, or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
