This is an exciting opportunity for a Geo-Environmental Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team on a variety of ground investigation and construction projects in the North and midlands. This Geo-environmental Engineer position will involve regularly attending and assisting with site walkovers, carrying out site investigations, soil and rock logging, preparing phase plans and carrying out phase 1 Desk Studies. You'll also be writing factual reports, work on in situ testing and observing day-to-day tasks to develop geo-environmental knowledge.

The successful Geo-environmental Engineer will:

  • Have a minimum of a BSc in geology, geoscience, physical geography, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
  • Been keen to learn and develop geo-environmental skills.
  • Show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands on role.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Commutable to Leeds.
  • Full right to work in the UK.
