We are seeking aProcess Operativeto workwithin the Sewing Department, Leeds.

Hours:Monday - Thursday, 6am 4pm

Salary: £11.44 p/h

Reporting to the Leadership team, the Process Operative will be able to understand and work with production tickets, whilst checking the specification is correct.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand production tickets

Prepare Borders & Panels, whilst checking the spec is correct to the production ticket

Visually check finished items to ensure 100% accuracy, right first time

Remove any flaws and record the data - inform Technical Lead Operatives

Monitor and record scrap/yield.

Discuss complications or assembly line slowdowns with Team Leader and come up with solutions for increased productivity

Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Key Skills & Experience:

Sewing experience preferred but not essential opportunities to be trained as a sewing machinist.

Enthusiastic and flexible approach to react on a day-to-day basis to all requests,

Ability to self-manage your time during the working day.

Attention to detail and the ability to think clearly and work under pressure.

Ability to multi-task, work to deadlines and prioritise workload to deliver expectations and tasks.

Excellent communication skills
