Kingspan Insulation are a leading manufacturer of high-performance rigid insulation within the construction industry. We are experiencing significant growth right now and this is a genuinely exciting opportunity for a number of Production Operatives with various skill sets to join a global leading business and play a part in our manufacturing operation!Â
Whatâs the role and what are we looking for?
Working a rotational days/nights pattern of an average of 39 hours per week:
- Days: Monday â Wednesday from 05:45 to 18:00, and 05:45 to 12:00 on ThursdaysÂ
- Nights: Monday â Wednesday from 17:45 to 06:00Â
Shift premium = 26.33% for rotational shifts and 35% for permanent nights.
Your responsibilities as a Production Operative will include running our production processes efficiently, ensuring safety, quality, quantity, cost, and time all meet operational standards, reducing waste and down time and supporting the development and improvement of all production processes.
Key Skills;
- Experience of working within a fast paced production environmentÂ
- A sound understanding of Health and Safety practices
- A methodical approach to product quality and machinery careÂ
- Analytical and mechanical capabilities are advantageous but not essential in order to identify issues within the production process
- Good communication skills are essentialÂ
- Be a good team player with a âCan do attitudeâ
- To be familiar with reporting tools such as Microsoft Office and have the capability to operate machinery using touch screen panels (HMI)
- SAP knowledge would be beneficial but not essential Â
- Strong at fault finding and problem solving Â
