Job Purpose
- Undertake audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, from planning to completion
- Monitor work progress, ensuring constant communication and compliance throughout
- Allocate audit work in the field and the office
- Ensure full agreement of client work, negotiating likely fees to maximise fee recovery
- Work closely with clients to build trusted relationships, being their go-to person for support
- Deliver a strong commercial awareness, reviewing opportunities for fee development
- Confidently present work to Partners, completing files to a high standard
- Underpin audit and accounts matters with current legislation and compliance
- Delegate work to and mentor an audit team, supporting their learning and development
- Represent the firm at networking opportunities and support the provision of marketing and sales services

The Successful Applicant
- ACA, ACCA, or ICAS qualified with demonstrable experience in UK practice
- A proven track record of leading audits from planning to completion
- Adept at accounts preparation and leading all commercial aspects of portfolio management
- Experience managing a team of accountants
- Excellent work ethic and hands-on approach
- Self-motivated and eager to progress
- Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
- Good awareness of current affairs and emerging trends
- A can-do attitude and a proactive problem solver
- A natural relationship builder with the ability to prioritise workload
- Commercial awareness and business acumen
