Job Purpose

  • Manager the provision of a full suite of accountancy support to a varied client portfolio.
  • Oversee and review the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, and VAT returns.
  • Manage workflow and ensure client expectations and deadlines are being met.
  • Build and retain trusted relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Oversee the performance, development and recruitment for the team.
  • Offer an enhanced level of commercial acumen and support the Partners in all area of networking and business development.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.
  • Act as a trusted support to the Managers and Partners.

Job Requirements

  • ACA or ACCA qualified, QBE or a finalist with previous practice experience.
  • Significant accountancy experience within practice at supervisory level or above.
  • Good knowledge across accountancy systems.
  • Adept at using Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Word.
  • HR and people skills.
  • An active listener.
  • Strong communication and advisory skills.
  • A proactive problem-solver.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
