Corporate Team Leader - Commercial Insurance

This exciting opportunity will see you leading a team of 8 Commercial Account Handlers across two Yorkshire sites, managing premium sizes ranging from £20k to £2.5m, with the majority falling between £30k and £100k across diverse industry sectors.

About the Role

As 'Head of Corporate’, you’ll take on a pivotal role, reporting directly to the Managing Director and becoming an integral part of the leadership team, being part of leadership meeting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting 1-2-1s, setting personal development plans, and overseeing the day-to-day management of your team.
  • Supporting team members with their professional growth, ensuring they thrive in their roles.
  • Handling a small portfolio of large or complex cases, weighted to align with your expertise.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the company’s growth journey and unlocking future opportunities.

This is a rare chance to step into a management role with a structured handover from the outgoing team leader (promoted internally), offering six months of gradual onboarding and support.
