Corporate Team Leader - Commercial Insurance

This exciting opportunity will see you leading a team of 8 Commercial Account Handlers across two Yorkshire sites, managing premium sizes ranging from £20k to £2.5m, with the majority falling between £30k and £100k across diverse industry sectors.

About the Role

As 'Head of Corporate’, you’ll take on a pivotal role, reporting directly to the Managing Director and becoming an integral part of the leadership team, being part of leadership meeting. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting 1-2-1s, setting personal development plans, and overseeing the day-to-day management of your team.
• Supporting team members with their professional growth, ensuring they thrive in their roles.
• Handling a small portfolio of large or complex cases, weighted to align with your expertise.
• Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the company’s growth journey and unlocking future opportunities.

This is a rare chance to step into a management role with a structured handover from the outgoing team leader (promoted internally), offering six months of gradual onboarding and support.

What We’re Looking For

This role is ideal for an experienced insurance professional looking to transition into management or someone ready to manage larger and more complex cases. We’re looking for candidates with:

• Strong technical knowledge in commercial insurance or operational experience in the commercial insurance sector.
