- Lead the month-end management accounts process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyse P&L variances to support commentary and recommendations
- Review monthly payroll to ensure accurate payment, check payroll reports and resolve any discrepancies with the People Team
- Manage a team of 2 in the AP and AR functions, ensuring efficient processing and accurate record-keeping
- Act as the finance business partner to central functions such as the People Team, IT and Operations
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial plans
- Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required
- Be a key player in the annual statutory audit
- Be part Qualified, Finalist or Fully qualified ACCA/CIMA - Essential
- Have strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards - Essential
- Have previous experience of people management/supervision - Desirable
- Previous knowledge of Sage 50/200 – Desirable
