We are proud to be supporting one of the regions largest education providers with the appointment of a Finance Manager to their busy finance function.
Working independently but as an extension of a larger centralised team, you will be responsible for the full financial management of a 3.5million budget as well as the provision of financial support and information for the wider organisation.
In an enviroment where each and every must be accounted for and used efficiently, you will ensure the financial management is sound and procedures are strictly adhered to.
As a Finance Manager, duties will include but are not limited to:
- Oversee all financial transactions - Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Petty Cash, Expenses and Banking
- Management of 2 direct reports
- Full monthly management accounts inc reconciliations
- Variance Analysis (actuals to budget)
- Short term and long term forecasting
- Costing and financial oversight of projects/business cases
- Year end accounts and support in the audit
- Evaluation of SLAs and contracts to ensure best value for service

You must be AAT qualified as a minimum but this position would also suit someone with demonstrable management accounts experience who may be part CIMA/ACCA or recently qualified.
