Accomplish Today's client is a fast-growing company, who are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team and oversee financial operations to ensure smooth and efficient financial processes. Please note this is a hands on role and will managing the finance team on a day to day basis.Key Responsibilities

  • Experience managing a finance team
  • Oversee and manage the company’s financial operations, including A/R, A/P, and payroll functions.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting and financial controls.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in a timely manner.
  • Develop budgets and financial forecasts, with ongoing monitoring and variance analysis.
  • Lead the preparation for audits, liaising with external auditors as needed.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of bank transactions and monitor incoming and outgoing payments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational objectives.
  • Support strategic decision-making with financial insights and reporting.
  • Manage the financial system in CargoWise One and ensure effective use across the team.
  • Proactively improve financial processes and implement best practices.
  • Monitor shared inboxes for financial queries and assist in responding as needed.
  • Provide leadership and support to the finance team in day-to-day operations and ad-hoc tasks.
  • Able to put in place accuracy of cost capture, cost allocation and cost control.
  • Proficient in management of debtors and creditors.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager
  • Strong working knowledge of financial and accounting software such as Sage. Big Change experience desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work setting.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork.
  • Ability to drive process improvements and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
