Some of the daily duties will include: 
  • Lead and manage a small team of Purchase & Sales Ledger in the timely process of invoices
  • Overseeing the day to day transactions and acting as a point of escalation
  • Develop existing and implement new processes to improve the efficiency of the team.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, coaching to improve their skills and encourage development.
  • Working as part of the team to meet deadlines and assist during busy periods
  • Produce reports and analysis on the progress in the team for  the Finance Manager as required
What we are looking for?This position requires someone with a good knowledge of purchase, sales ledger and business processes. Some of the main things we are looking for are:
  • Previous experience within a Team Leader or Management role within finance.
  • AAT Qualified
  • Strong communicator when dealing with internal and external teams
  • Computer literate to a high standard with knowledge of finance software
  • Proactive approach to work with a focus on teamwork to ensure work is completed
  • High levels of accuracy and analytical skills
