- Preparation, review and delivery of monthly management accounts with completed supporting schedules
- Ensuring the Finance ledger team maintains complete and accurate reporting
- Review of internal processes to ensure they are “fit for purpose”, efficient and appropriate for the business
- Support and develop team members to ensure shared knowledge, skills and provide structured career paths for all
- Provide information as required by external parties (Bank, HMRC, ONS, Insurance, Auditors)
- Lead the preparation of accounts/tax disclosures and schedules for statutory audit
- A qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Technically competent from a financial reporting perspective
- Experienced in similar role, not necessarily from within the food industry although this would be advantageous
- Able to demonstrate initiative, problem solving and communication skills
- A drive to succeed, improve and challenge the status quo
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
