Are you currently in a Finance Manager or financial reporting role looking to step up into a Group Reporting Manager position?

This role is suitable for a qualified Accountant, with experience in financial accounting who feels ready to step up into a more senior role.

You will report into a Head of Reporting and take responsibility for maintaining financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Due to an increase in workload, this role has been newly created to better support the Head of Reporting for this leading retail business.

Day to day:

  • Support statutory accounting
  • Support of year end and audit
  • Support the month end close
  • Lead internal controls and compliance
  • Work with external stakeholders such as tax advisors
  • Assist the wider business with finance processes
  • Fixed asset and capex reporting
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Own cash flow forecasting

You will need:

  • To be fully qualified - ACCA, ACA or ACMA
  • Have solid experience in financial / statutory accounting for another business
  • Have strong communication skills, confident dealing with stakeholder requests and relationships
  • Be results focused and driven to working to tight deadlines
  • Have strong IT skills
  • Keen to take ownership for this role and work with high level autonomy
