Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to lead our clients' financial operations and strategy. This pivotal role will oversee all financial management activities, ensuring the organisation's financial health and sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of financial planning, cost control, and financial services. This position is crucial for driving the companys financial performance and aligning our financial strategy with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the finance department, providing guidance and support to ensure effective financial management across the organisation.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure accurate financial information is available for decision-making.
  • Manage cost control processes to optimise operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Supervise accounts payable processes to ensure timely payments and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, maintaining the integrity of financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive business performance.
  • Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in a finance role, demonstrating the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Strong background in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Expertise in financial planning and analysis with a focus on strategic decision-making.
  • Experience in cost control measures that enhance profitability without compromising quality.
  • Familiarity with financial services regulations and best practices in accounts payable management.
  • Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
