This is a 3-6 month interim Finance Director position for a Private Equity backed business with a turnover of around £10M.
The role focuses on professionalizing finance systems, processes, and reporting for Private Equity purposes while managing external funders and banks.
Candidates should have experience as a Finance Director, CFO, or in a similar finance leadership role within a PE backed, product-based SME.
The position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work closely with the Management Team and PE house, necessitating someone local to Leeds.
An excellent day rate is offered, with an immediate start in October, and candidates should have prior experience in finance leadership roles.

This is a 3-6 month interim Finance Director / Number 1 in Finance job for a high growth, founder led but Private Equity backed business around £10M turnover, outside of IR35.

Ultimately this finance leadership role is one of professionalisation. Your job will be to ensure the systems, processes and financial reporting is fit for Private Equity purposes as well as managing external funders and banks.

You will likely be a career interim with experience as Finance Director, CFO, or Number 1 in finance experience in a PE backed, product based SME. You will definitely be, 'hands on' eager to immerse yourself in a business and ensure the finance function of the business is absolutely fit for purpose. Ideally you will also live local to Leeds as this role will require someone on site almost all of the time - you will work closely with both the Management Team, and the PE house and that constant line of communication will be critical. You will also be able to start quickly - certainly in October!
