HW Finance is partnering with a Leeds based SME, who are the UK leaders in their field, as they look to add an Interim Finance Manager to their team.

The role
- Leading a small team of 3 individuals, including part qualified and transactional finance.
- You will have regular exposure to the leadership team (FD and FC) to report on complex financial data/analysis in an easily understandable format.
- Identify process and system improvements across the finance team and liaise with other departments daily.
- Ensure the financial control framework is operating effectively within your department.
- Ensure accurate preparation, review and submission of all information required from your direct reports for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
- Deliver compliance with internal and external accounting policies.
What skills are we looking for?
- A qualified accountant from either a recognised accountancy practice or industry, ideally a multi entity business or Group function.
- Excellent knowledge of current Accounting Standards (UK GAAP & IFRS) is an advantage.
- Experience in operating financial controls within a complex business environment.
- A confident communicator who can business partner, ideally with a bias towards system improvements and integration.
