Description

As a Finance Manager reporting to the Financial Director and working alongside an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage the company's financial planning and budgeting processes
  • Oversee, review, and adhere to the budgets for each business department
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
  • Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
  • Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
  • Develop plans for financial growth and analyse market trends to maximise profits
  • Supervise a team of accountants to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies

Profile

  • Have completed AAT or be qualified by experience
  • Excellent organisation skills and a hands-on approach, with the ability to prioritise workload efficiently
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the finance department
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong ethics, with a customer-oriented attitude
  • Great communication skills
