Page Personnel are supporting an SME Manufacturing organisation in the surrounding area of Leeds, who are looking to hire a brand new permanent Part Time Finance Manager. Reporting into the Managing Director and board level members, in this very varied opportunity you will be supporting with the preparation of the management accounts, with other key duties such as cash flow. This position is 30 hours a week Monday to Thursday, salaried up to £40k (FTE).

Reporting into the Managing Director and other board level members, in this very 'all round' opportunity you will be supporting with the preparation of the management accounts, with other key duties such as cash flow forecasting and ownership of the ledger. This position is 30 hours working week Monday to Thursday, and up to £40,000 full time equivalent.

Description

As standalone Finance Manager reporting into the Managing Director, you will be successfully supporting with the management accounts preparation such as balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, journals and prepayments etc when needed.

Alongside this will be taking ownership of the transactional side of things, such as the ledgers, bank reconciliations and VAT returns to name a few.

In this varied Finance position, you will be supporting with the business improvement decisions, adding commentary from a finance perspective.

Profile

  • Ideally AAT Level 4 but not essential.
  • Open to any Qualified by Experience or Part Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
  • Experience of preparing management accounts such as accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and journal posting etc.
  • Knowledge of transactions duties such as bank reconciliations, petty cash, VAT returns and ledgers.
  • Cash Flow forecasting experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Comfortable with excel and finance softwares.
  • Can work individually and as part of a wider organisation.
  • Happy to work on site Monday to Thursday (30 hours a week).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
