This is a fantastic opportunity for a tax professional looking to take the next step in their career with a company that offers genuine progression, a collaborative environment, and a chance to work with a diverse range of clients.  Key Responsibilities: Client Management & Advisory
  • Serve as the primary contact for client tax-related enquiries, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional advice.
  • Provide expert advice on tax planning, compliance, and employment and corporate tax matters.
  • Identify and recommend tax-efficient strategies, helping clients navigate the tax implications of their business decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless and comprehensive service to clients.
 Tax Compliance & Technical Expertise
  • Oversee and review the preparation of Corporate Tax Returns and computations, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with tax regulations.
  • Support clients through tax audits and investigations, acting as their representative in discussions with HMRC.
  • Stay ahead of legislative changes, proactively identifying opportunities to optimise client tax positions.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Mentor and develop junior team members through structured training and coaching (currently a team of seven).
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the department.
Business Growth & Development
  • Engage in business development activities, identifying and capitalising on opportunities to expand the firm's client base.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders to support business growth.
 Skills Required:
  • ACA / CTA qualified or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax compliance and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in tax computations and compliance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to explain complex tax matters clearly and concisely to clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to provide strategic tax advice.
  • Proactive and commercially minded, identifying opportunities for clients and the firm.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • A self-motivated approach with strong time management skills.
