They are seeking a Technical Accounting Senior Manager to join their team in Leeds, working on complex accounting matters and contributing to the strategic direction of the department.
Your New Role as Technical Accounting Senior Manager:
In this pivotal role, you will work closely with AIM, Main Market, and private equity-backed clients, providing expert technical accounting advice. This will include researching complex IFRS areas, preparing technical papers for audit, and managing client portfolios. You will also act as the project lead on one-off assignments and provide strategic input into the department's operations, including recruitment, financial management, and staff development.
Main Responsibilities:
As the Technical Accounting Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing client relationships, ensuring queries are resolved, and delivering work to a high standard. You will prepare detailed technical accounting papers, lead projects, and actively contribute to the strategic growth of the department. Managing department finances, mentoring team members, and ensuring core values are upheld will also form an essential part of your role.
The Experience & Qualifications Required:
The successful candidate will be ACA qualified with significant post-qualification experience, ideally 4-5 years. Strong knowledge and practical experience in IFRS are essential, along with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to clients and colleagues. Experience managing client relationships and contributing to departmental operations, such as strategy and recruitment, is highly desirable.
Your Reward & The Package On Offer:
As a Technical Accounting Senior Manager, you can expect a competitive salary of £55,000-£75,000 per year, depending on experience, along with opportunities for career progression and personal development.
