The Company: A UK-based, market leading wealth management firm offering investment management, financial planning and advisory services seek a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Financial Planner to join their Wealth Management team. Acquired by a global financial powerhouse in 2016 they serve high-net-worth individuals, families, businesses and charities. The firm also provides discretionary investment management and advisory services, helping clients with retirement planning, tax optimization and estate planning, and philanthropy.

Office Location: Central Leeds

  • Hybrid/Home Working: Yes - Fully flexible

Salary/Package: £110-150k base DOE + attractive bonus & full company benefits

The Role: You will provide expert financial planning services to a client bank of high-net-worth individuals and families, helping them navigate complex investment portfolios and pension strategies. You will play a critical role in ensuring clients receive tailored, comprehensive advice that aligns with their long-term financial objectives. Duties include:

  • Management of a significant client base - Developing and maintaining existing client relationships whilst further increasing business with the generation of new clients.
  • Proactively represent the Financial Planning function internally and the brand proposition externally to develop and positively influence the firms position within the marketplace.
  • Develop your network through seeking opportunities with current, new and potential clients.
  • Drive efficiency within the office/team to sustain business growth while ensuring fair client outcomes.
  • Provision of regulated advice across all standard licenced areas.
  • Produce financial solutions to meet clients’ needs and delivers ongoing monitoring and review, making changes where appropriate to deliver continued suitability of investments.
  • Responsible for ensuring ongoing client suitability.
  • Manage all actions consistent with the advice given to clients.

The Person: You must be QCF level 6 Chartered (or working towards) and have a demonstrable track record of managing individual private clients sitting North of £1m+ AUM. You will:

  • Hold a minimum 5+ years’ experience working within HNW private wealth focused advice
  • Have managed a significantly sized client bank previously - Ideally £50m+
  • Bring strong technical knowledge and awareness across the breadth of private wealth advice, inclusive of investments, pensions, IHT planning/trust work and VCT’s/EIS’s
