Are you an ambitious and commercially driven Management Accountant looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic, Private Equity backed Service business that is based in Leeds. This is a business that has seen year on year growth despite the challenging economic markets that is looking for someone to join the business partnering with operational teams to drive financial performance.
In this role, you will oversee the essential financial operations for the division. Collaborating with both operational and finance teams, you will ensure accurate monthly result reporting and provide explanations for significant variances. Additionally, you will prepare key client management information (MI) to offer insights and report on critical metrics throughout the entire service process.
Working directly with the Head of Management Accounting and alongside a variety of senior stakeholders across the business; your role will blend both the financial and commercial elements of finance including:
- Work with the team reporting into Head of Management Accounting in the preparation of the management accounts on a monthly basis.
- Management of the key finance operational processes.
- Working with the operational teams to understand and ensure accurate profitability of deliveries.
- Balance sheet reviews Monthly/Quarterly.
- Continual review and improvement of procedures.
- Provide detailed analysis with commentary as needed to show customer and product profitability.
- Actively communicate with and foster relationships with other departments.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Provide information to various departments in response to Ad Hoc requests.
- Provide information for, and carry out commercial evaluations with commentary for review by the Head of Management Accounting.
- Ensure all guidelines on reporting and processes are followed and adhered to.
