The Company: An exciting Employed Financial Planner opportunity working for a highly ambitious IFA business based in South Leeds. Part of a larger group, this growing wealth management arm of the business has an opportunity to come inherit a client bank of around 100 families with circa £110k ongoing, and ample new business opportunities to further impact earnings.

  • Office Location: Morley, South Leeds
  • Hybrid/Home Working: Yes - Flexible

Package: £45-48k base DOE + bonus and full company benefits:

  • Bonus Setup: 2 x Validation inclusive of peripheral fees
  • Benefits: Company pension scheme and study support towards CII qualifications. Paid sick leave, Death in service and PMI after 6-months
  • Holidays: 25-days + stats

The Role: To deliver quality financial planning and wealth management to existing clients. Enhance client servicing agreements where appropriate, as well as looking to self-generate appointments and identify new business opportunities. Further duties include:

  • To manage and prospect an existing book of business and ensure they are serviced with the utmost attention, regularly reviewing client needs as required
  • Conduct meetings with existing and new clients, either office-based, from their homes or remotely via Teams/Zoom in a flexible manner
  • Converting quality leads into new clients and bringing on board fresh AUM
  • Ensure you help clients understand their options, in order to help them achieve their financial goals and service ongoing plans accordingly
  • Analyse all information and prepare a plan that is designed, and bespoke to individual clients'

You will be expected to provide sound financial advice to clients across Wealth Management, Estate Planning, Tax Planning, Investments and Retirement options, working closely with the support team and compliance department.

The Person: You must be QCF level 4 Diploma qualified and hold CAS as a practicing adviser, with the ability to advise from day-1.

  • Required: Experience of advising HNW private wealth clients is essential, ideally across the full spectrum of advice inclusive of family planning and tax/trust work.
  • Required: A strong analytical approach with experience of analysing financial records and technical information.
  • Preferred: And adviser owned and transferable AUM is not required with a full client bank to inherit here, but some contacts would beneficial for business development purposes.
