NJR Recruitment is delighted to be once again recruiting for an outstanding wealth management firm in the Wakefield area. Our Client is a fast-growing Financial Planning firm which provides professional, face to face financial advice to clients throughout the UK. They are now looking for an ambitious Junior Paraplanner to join their report writing team.

The main purpose of the role will be to support Financial Planners and the Senior Paraplanner by conducting relevant analysis, collating information and producing accurate and compliant client reports and suitability letters using templates.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to the Paraplanners
  • Analysing data and using research tools to provide solutions to meet client needs and objectives
  • Gathering and chasing ceding information from Providers
  • Draft Suitability Letters / Reports
  • Complete Calculations under a high degree of supervision
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects

What do we need from you

  • Previous experience in completing suitability reports using templates
  • A good general knowledge across pensions and investments
  • Previous experience working for an SJP Partner would be a huge bonus
  • Ideally will be working towards Level 4 Diploma qualifications, but this is not essential.
