Leeds - Salary negotiable up to £50,000, DOE

We are working with a well-established and growing financial planning firm that is looking to recruit a Paraplanner. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team and play a key role in providing high-quality research, analysis, and report writing to support financial advisers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend complex client meetings alongside advisers, taking notes and managing follow-up research and report writing.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify suitable financial solutions for clients.
  • Produce clear, compliant, and technically accurate recommendation reports.
  • Complete pension, investment, and tax calculations as required.
  • Liaise with product providers to obtain policy information, illustrations, and comparisons.
  • Assist with annual platform and product due diligence as directed by the Investment Committee.
  • Work closely with the Client Services Team and Financial Planners to ensure seamless client service.
  • Keep up to date with compliance and regulatory changes, maintaining strong technical knowledge.
  • Attend client meetings to provide additional support to financial planners.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • CII Level 4 Diploma qualified, ideally working towards CII Level 6 Advanced Diploma/Chartered status.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and self-motivated team player.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Excellent technical and product knowledge.
  • Proficiency in financial planning tools and industry software such as Voyant, Analytics, FE, Defaqto, and Intelligent Office.
