Our client is an independent financial advice company who due to continued company growth are looking for a Senior Paraplanner to play an important role in supporting their financial advisers by delivering high-quality research and reports in line with business expectations around quality and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse gathered information and conduct thorough research to formulate suitable recommendations for clients.
  • Create high quality suitability reports in a timely manner and to a highly professional standard.
  • Address operational challenges promptly, providing solutions, and fostering a proactive problem-solving environment.
  • Keep abreast of new product, technical, and legislative changes within the marketplace to ensure up-to-date knowledge.
  • Complete all supporting documentation with precision and accuracy.
  • Maintain performance standards in accordance with those outlined in the Key Performance Indicators.
  • Provide mentorship and training to the Paraplanning Team, contributing to the development of their skills and knowledge.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements and standards.

Experience Required:

  • Be qualified in the Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in paraplanning, with a particular focus on supporting pensions accumulation and decumulation advice.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, regulations, and market dynamics.
