Our client is an independent financial advice company who due to continued company growth are looking for a Senior Paraplanner to play an important role in supporting their financial advisers by delivering high-quality research and reports in line with business expectations around quality and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse gathered information and conduct thorough research to formulate suitable recommendations for clients.
- Create high quality suitability reports in a timely manner and to a highly professional standard.
- Address operational challenges promptly, providing solutions, and fostering a proactive problem-solving environment.
- Keep abreast of new product, technical, and legislative changes within the marketplace to ensure up-to-date knowledge.
- Complete all supporting documentation with precision and accuracy.
- Maintain performance standards in accordance with those outlined in the Key Performance Indicators.
- Provide mentorship and training to the Paraplanning Team, contributing to the development of their skills and knowledge.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements and standards.
Experience Required:
- Be qualified in the Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years experience in paraplanning, with a particular focus on supporting pensions accumulation and decumulation advice.
- Strong understanding of financial products, regulations, and market dynamics.
