NextGen Teachers are currently working in partnership with a three-form entry Primary School in Leeds, who are seeking to recruit a full-time Early Years / Reception Class Teacher for a full-time contract starting in the summer-term or sooner if possible.

This is a diverse school with over 40+ languages spoken and the school pride themselves on the diversity and inclusion of all pupils from Early Years to KS2.

This role will be to teach a full class of Reception in the Early Years Foundation Stage and will be to work on a full-time basis and take on all responsibilities of the class teacher including: planning, marking, CPD, parents evenings etc.

There is a strong emphasis on Speech and Language and Phonics across school as many of the children at this school are new to England/English.

Teachers applying for this position MUST have:

  • Qualified Teaching Status in the UK
  • A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in the UK (M3+)
  • Both ECT years completed
  • Experience teaching in Early Years (Reception)
  • Extensive experience with Phonics screening and testing
  • DBS on the update service
  • 2x professional references
