This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 5 years of experience working in sustainability within the built environment. You will become part of a Leeds based Design consultancy with expertise in building services and acoustics that promotes innovation and creativity within the workplace.

The ideal BREEAM Assessor will:

  • Have a degree-level qualification in a sustainability/environmental management/geography subject
  • Have at least 5 years relevant experience working in the field of sustainability consultancy and/or construction-side sustainability.
  • Have Experience in advising on and delivering BREEAM, WELL, Fitwel schemes
  • Have a good understanding of and experience in developing detailed circular economy strategies
  • Ideally, have experience in preparing documentation for London-based planning applications.

What the role of the BREEAM Assessor entails:

  • Strategic Guidance: Provide expert technical analysis and guidance to shape and influence sustainability strategies. Lead workshops to help clients define their strategic sustainability brief.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the consulting team to develop, implement, and monitor sustainability briefs and targets for various projects.
  • Project Leadership: Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to sustainability targets and providing mentorship to junior team members.
  • Team Management: Assist in the operation and management of their Sustainability Team, including project governance, forecasting, and bidding processes.
  • Industry Representation: Representation within industry working groups and engage positively with industry institutions to share knowledge and promote best practices.
