I am currently working on behalf of a L200, national law firm that is looking to strengthen its Clinical Risk team with the hire of a Clinical Negligence Solicitor at its central Leeds office.

This firm promotes a very flexible working environment in which you can tailor your working week how you like when it comes to hybrid working. Alongside a solid work life balance, the team has an incredibly lucrative bonus structure which will allow you to accelerate your earnings.

The team is keen to speak with intelligent candidates who are ambitious and passionate, looking to handle a challenging but fulfilling caseload of defendant clinical negligence work, acting for a variety of clients to include NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts, MDU, independent providers and medical malpractice insurers.

Applications are welcome from NQ to circa 5PQE level.

Main Responsibilities

  • Handling a challenging caseload of defendant clinical negligence work on behalf of NHS Resolution
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements and letters of response, conducting face to face negotiations and mediation of claims as well as preparing counter schedules

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in defendant or claimant clinical negligence, or defendant insurance law
  • Ideally 0-5+ PQE, however we are happy to consider applications at all levels
  • Experience gained within an NHS Resolution panel firm would be preferable (but not essential) as would an understanding of the NHS and their business drivers, including knowledge of and ability to deliver against client protocols and KPIs

If you meet the above criteria, please apply directly via the link.
