Market 36 Recruitment currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Collections Agent/Delivery Driver to join our client in Leeds on a permanent basis.
This really is a fantastic opportunity where will be responsible for travelling to a variety of customers sites within your region to collect a wide range of redundant IT equipment. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to environmental responsibility.
Roles and Responsibilities:
路 Visits customer premises to collect redundant IT equipment.
路 Works with other members of the team to ensure depot targets are achieved.
路 Provide excellent customer service during collection visits.
路 Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
路 Complete collection documentation.
路 Ensures all asset and serial data is captured on site to enable accurate traceability of items.
路 Communicates with Scheduling team to escalate issues or variations occurring on site.
路 Safely load and secure IT equipment in the collection van to prevent damage during transportation.
路 Is flexible in approach to scheduled routes, core working hrs and willing to adopt last minute change.
路 Is willing to work away from home on occasion.
路 Conduct routine inspections of the collection van and report any maintenance needs.
路 Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the collection vehicle.
路 Complies and adheres to Company Policies & Procedures.
路 Maintain site security and adhere to security policy & procedure.
路 Maintains good housekeeping practices.
路 Complete any other reasonable instruction from management.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience
路 Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
路 Previous experience in a similar driving or logistics role preferred.
路 Familiarity with handling and transporting IT equipment is advantageous.
路 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
路 Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
路 Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
路 Due to insurance purposes, our client is only able to consider applicants aged 25 and over.
Mostly, working hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm, however if you complete the working day sooner than anticipated, you will still be paid for a minimum of 40 hours weekly.
In some instances, out of hrs or long-distance collections will be required, these may necessitate late or early starts or nights away to complete.
In return our client offers a starting salary of 拢27,249 per annum, with regular overtime available, alongside a generous pension scheme and regular salary reviews. Our client also offers the opportunity to complete additional driving qualifications following a successful probation period and the opportunity to progress within the company.
The successful candidates will be expected to undertake a DBS check.
