Construction Director (Building)
Up to 130,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus Etc.
I am partnering alongside a key client of mine, who are one of Yorkshire's best Main Contractors within the 'Building' space with a rich history of project delivery across the region over many years. The region, are looking to appoint a 'Construction Director' to work as part of the business units Senior Leadership team.
As Construction Director, you will have full responsibility and accountability for the regional operational team, which has a number of; Contracts Managers, PM's, Site Managers etc as well as the Design Function, reporting into you. 75% of your role, will be spent ensuring:
- Live projects are being delivered; on budget, on programme and to Safety & Quality standards
- Sitting in on Project Review meetings. Identifying and challenging issues with the site teams to ensure relevant plans are taken to provent issues downline
- Provide general support to all site teams in a collaborative manner
The other 25% of your role, will be spent working within Pre-Construction and supporting tenders. More so, from a programme perspective. Reporting into the Regional Director.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven in the role of Construction Director or Operations Director
- Working & have worked within, a Tier One or Two Main Contractor
- Project Value Experience. 15m to 50m
- Capable of leading and managing large teams and various projects
