Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist

Location: Waterloo Manor, Selby Road, Garforth, Leeds, LS25 1NA

Rate of Pay: Competitive salary 拢200,000 per annum

Hours of Work: 40 hrs a week plus on-call duty, permanent role

Benefits: 25 days Annual leave + Bank holidays.

About the Role:

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a pivotal role in providing person-centred care to our inpatients. Working collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary teams, you will typically manage a caseload of 14-16 patients, ensuring they receive comprehensive and effective mental health support. In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to autonomously lead teaching sessions for junior doctors and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

路 Provide high-quality clinical care for inpatients.

路 Manage a caseload of 14-16 patients.

路 Work autonomously and contribute to teaching sessions.

路 Collaborate with a well-established multi-disciplinary team which includes OT, psychologist, visiting GP, physical health practitioner and RMNs.

路 Participate in an on-call rota.

Necessary Experience or Qualifications:

路 Full GMC registration

路 Psychiatry experience within multi-disciplinary teams

路 Doctor experience in a similar environment (desirable)

路 MRCPsych or equivalent

路 Section 12(2) approval

路 Approved clinical status.

The service is gender specific, working with women who have complex mental health issues. Waterloo Manor is the largest female Personality Disorder service in the United Kingdom that provides assessment and treatment services for women with complex mental health & disorders. The Hospital provides both low secure and rehabilitation services.
