The RoleAs a Costs Draftsman, you will:
- Prepare accurate and timely bills of costs, including detailed and budgeted bills.
- Handle cost negotiations and liaise with opposing parties to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Draft Points of Dispute and Replies.
- Provide strategic cost advice to the legal team.
- Keep up to date with relevant case law and legislative changes affecting legal costs.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Costs Draftsman within a law firm or costs consultancy.
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
