We are seeking an experienced Materials Handler/FLT Driver to join our Operations team.
The position requires hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and a valid Counter Balance FLT license for loads up to 7 tonnes.
Candidates should also possess a full driving license, with overhead crane and lifting slinging experience considered desirable.
The role offers a salary of £30,000 per year and involves a 37.5-hour work week with a flexible schedule.
Applicants should have a willingness to work across different areas of the business and be able to understand mechanical and schematic drawings.

We are looking for an experienced Materials Handler/ FLT Driver to join our Operations team.Duties Include:Your core duties will be loading and unloading of various types of distribution and power transformers utilising the overhead crane.Transporting and processing various materials across two sites using FLT and Company vanUsing general workshop machinery and hand tools related the roleQuality inspection of colleague’s outputMaximise the uptime of operations by delivering materials in a timely mannerPerformance of area housekeeping activities, including the prompt reporting of problems shortages or equipment breakdownExperience required:Hands on experience of working within a manufacturing environment requiredCounter Balance FLT essential to 7 tonnesFull driving licence requiredOverhead crane/lifting slinging experience desirableThe ability to understand mechanical and schematic drawingsFlexible approach with hours and a willingness to work across other areas of the businessWorking Hours 37.5 (Nine Day Fortnight):Week 1 - 7.45 am and 4.45 pm Monday to Thursday Week 2 - 7.45 am to 4.45 pm Monday to Thursday and 7.45 am to 15.15 pm on FridaySkills:FLT CounterbalanceWarehouse opDriving LicenceKeywords:FLT CounterbalanceOverhead crane/lifting slinging
