Description

The Data Protection Solicitor will:

  • Advise on data protection matters across diverse business contracts, supporting compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, offering timely and relevant legal counsel on data protection, contract negotiations, and strategic decision-making.
  • Provide guidance on data-intensive business projects, including drafting and reviewing data processing agreements, privacy policies, and data protection impact assessments.
  • Promote data protection awareness and compliance within the organisation.

Profile

The successful Data Protection Solicitor should be:

  • A solicitor experienced in data protection law.
  • Experience in-house or in private practice, particularly with contract negotiations and data protection.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Capable of engaging effectively with colleagues across the organisation, including senior leadership.

Job Offer

The Data Protection Solicitor will receive:

  • A competitive salary, ranging from £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
