Description
The Data Protection Solicitor will:
- Advise on data protection matters across diverse business contracts, supporting compliance and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, offering timely and relevant legal counsel on data protection, contract negotiations, and strategic decision-making.
- Provide guidance on data-intensive business projects, including drafting and reviewing data processing agreements, privacy policies, and data protection impact assessments.
- Promote data protection awareness and compliance within the organisation.
Profile
The successful Data Protection Solicitor should be:
- A solicitor experienced in data protection law.
- Experience in-house or in private practice, particularly with contract negotiations and data protection.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Capable of engaging effectively with colleagues across the organisation, including senior leadership.
Job Offer
The Data Protection Solicitor will receive:
- A competitive salary, ranging from £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
- Bonus up to 15% of salary
