Database Developer - Leeds - Hybrid - £60k - £65k

My client are a technology company who have developed an analytics platform which uses AI and advanced analytics to help businesses make better data-driven decisions. This exciting, rapidly growing organisation are now looking for an experienced Database Developer to join their team.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Development of high-quality database solutions
  • Develop, implement and optimise stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
  • Analyse existing SQL queries for performance improvements
  • Build new queries, interfaces and processes;
  • You will be responsible for the continued improvement and development of the proprietary in-house platform that is currently deployed to numerous customers.
  • You will be part of a small but focused software development team that is located internationally and will report to the development manager relating to the delivery of the platform improvements.

What do I need to apply

  • 5 years' minimum experience with SQL & T-SQL development
  • Exstensive experience creating of stored procedures and optimising queries to improve performance
  • Ideally someone who's been involved in the development of applications (more dynamic)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or Github would be helpful
  • Experience with Azure data technologies would be helpful
