Hourly Rate: Highly Competitive (Above Industry Standard)
About Us: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Supply Early Years Practitioner to join our team and work across a variety of private day nurseries in Leeds. As a supply practitioner, you will have the flexibility to choose your own work schedule, providing high-quality care and education to young children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning, play, and social development in line with the EYFS framework.
- Work alongside other practitioners to foster a positive, inclusive environment that supports the individual needs of every child.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure continuity of care and support.
- Maintain accurate records and complete daily logs to monitor children's progress and well-being.
- Support children with special educational needs (SEN) and those who may require additional support to thrive.

Essential Requirements:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent).
- A solid understanding of the EYFS framework and how to implement it in practice.
- Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 in a nursery or early years setting.
- Passionate about working with children and committed to providing the best care and learning experiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- DBS checked (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with SEN and understanding of inclusive practices.
- Paediatric First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of Safeguarding and child protection policies.
