Join our clients friendly and supportive team at our family-feel private day nursery in the heart of Leeds! We are looking for an experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to make a positive impact on children's learning and development across the 0-5 age range.
About the Role:As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children's individual learning journeys. You'll have the chance to create and implement exciting activities in line with the EYFS framework, and provide a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment for children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively to provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5.
- Support children's learning through planned play activities and child-led learning experiences.
- Undertake the Key Person role (ideal but not essential), building strong relationships with children and families.
- Promote inclusive practice and ensure every child feels valued and supported.
- Observe, assess, and record children's development, contributing to planning and progress reports.
- Work alongside the team to ensure the nursery meets all safeguarding and welfare requirements.
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) and at least 1 year of previous experience in an Early Years setting.
- Experience across the 0-5 age range and ideally have experience in the Key Person role, although this is not essential.
- A passion for child development, with the ability to provide fun and engaging learning opportunities.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a commitment to high standards of practice.
- Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
