This Legal 500 firm have a fantastic opportunity to join their growing Team.In the role you will be working within a team responsible for running a caseload of Fast Track in line with current company policies and legal requirements and to assist other team members.
  • Ensure that cases are progressed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Progress files in line with KPI Targets
  • Liaising with clients, experts, barristers, third party solicitors and insurers as necessary.
  • Dealing with all aspects of pre and post issue procedures in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Pursuing cases to conclusion.
  • Ensuring all actions as per Proclaim Action List are completed in a timely fashion.?
?Essential Skills and Experience: 
  • Up to date knowledge of running a Fast Track case load.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Pre-Action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules
  • Knowledge and understanding of the MOJ Portal process, the ‘six pack’ Regulations, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Occupiers’ Liability Act 1957, The Highways Act 1980.
  • Litigation experience including running cases to Trial, being able to take the lead on cases
  • Excellent court skills, being able to prepare and commence proceedings, Pre-Action Disclosure Applications, Infant Settlement Hearings, attending CMCs, prepare directions, dealing with Cost Budgets where appropriate, liaising with Part 35 experts, lay witness, ensuring continuity
