Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias)
Salary: £55k
Location: Leeds
Shift pattern: 3 shifts with only 1 in 4 nights (nights only 4days) – 36hour week
Holidays: 34 days annual leave including bank holidays/Christmas shutdown

The Company
ATA Recruitment have partnered with a global corporation who specialise in manufacturing and processing products for the UK and EU. The successful maintenance engineer will be based at our client’s purpose built, highly advanced state of the art facility. They have undergone some recent upgrades, including installation of a brand-new unit line enabling them to process more units within minutes.
They are looking for a maintenance engineer who has as ambitions to progress within the engineering sector to become a seasoned engineer. You will work alongside a team of 8 multi skilled maintenance engineers on a range of bespoke automated high-speed kit.
The Role
As the maintenance engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct planned and preventive maintenance on automated and complex machinery
- Fault find on electrical and mechanical components including contactors, invertors, relays, bearings, rollers and some work on PLC’s including siemens and Mitsubishi
- Maintain levels of critical spares
- Control calibration records
Requirements
As the maintenance engineer, our client requires:
- NVQ level 3 apprenticeship (or equivalent) Electrical in engineering (mandatory)
- Good understanding of fault finding both mechanically and electrically
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
