We are seeking a skilled and experienced finisher to join our team on a short-term contract to help complete the show homes on a new housing development in Skelmanthorpe. This is a great opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to the final stages of a high-quality project.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of finishing tasks, including: Plastering and skimming walls and ceilings
- Applying decorative finishes (e.g., paint, wallpaper, tiling)
- Installing skirting boards, architraves, and other trim
- General cleanup and preparation for inspections
- Ensure work meets high standards of quality and attention to detail.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team, following instructions and collaborating with colleagues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a finisher with a strong understanding of various finishing techniques.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the trade.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work.
