Main Purpose of the role
  • To service production ensuring machinery down time is kept to a minimum
  • Ensure standards are maintained to the highest level
  • Feed and remove production stock as required
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times
Job Details:Assignment Duration: 12 Weeks Temp-to-Perm Working Week & Hours: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am (Rotational)Hourly Rate: £12.50per hourDuties 
  • Check production plan against system to ensure right stock, right place, right time
  • Review production to ensure all machinery has the correct products available at all times
  • Lease with team leader to highlight any potential issues or down time
  • Removal of all worked and finished goods to warehouse
  • Load stand trailer as and when required
  • Ensure no bins are overflowing and that empty bins are always available in both production area and warehouse
  • Removal of any excess pallets and none UK size pallets
  • Follow the left is long rule at all times
  • Support the completion of put away
  • Ensure bales are removed for shed as and when required
  • To help with de-boarding OPP pallets
  • To help with wrapping and strapping of finish goods ready for despatch
  • To help strap any raw materials/work in progress returned from production
Health and safety
  • Report and complete near miss report
  • Correct use of PPE
  • Completion of pre-start checks
  • Comply with all Roberts Mart H&S regulations
  • Follow the warehouse safety rules at all times
  • Ensure all fire exits and walkways are clear at all times
  • Ensure all stock on pallets is chocked, strapped and/or banded
  • Do not share your log in details and report all FLT incidents
Forklift licences required:
  • Counterbalance Lift Truck – essential.
  • Reach Lift Truck – essential.
  • PPT – essential.
  • VNA Operator (Up Lift Truck) – desired.
  • Clamp truck – desired.
