Location: Field-Based, UK | Salary: 65,000 - 75,000 (Competitive, plus car allowance, bonus, private healthcare, and additional benefits)

Are you a dynamic and results-driven leader with expertise in the M&E or similar industry? Do you have the skills to drive growth, lead high-performing teams, and build strong client relationships? We're looking for a Head of Work Winning to lead preconstruction and major work-winning activities across our business, targeting strategic growth and profitability.

What You'll Be Doing:

As Head of Work Winning, you will:

  • Develop and Execute Strategy: Lead the work-winning strategy, identifying potential clients, analysing markets, and positioning us competitively.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of Estimators, Bid Writers, and Business Development Managers.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with key accounts, influencers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Bid Management: Oversee timely and compliant bids for larger projects (>1m revenue), ensuring adherence to the Gate process and securing approvals.
  • Drive Growth: Deliver incremental, profitable revenue while fostering collaboration across the business and with external partners.

What We're Looking For:

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A proven track record in building and managing senior-level relationships, securing new business, and delivering results.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, including face-to-face and remote pitches.
  • Experience in the Power Industry, Electrical Contracting, or related sectors.
  • A deep understanding of high-voltage systems, substations, and distribution systems, with knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Mobility and willingness to travel several days a week to meet customers across the UK.
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
  • A collaborative mindset and experience driving results through teamwork and partnerships.
